Dr. Robert J. Pearlstein

Dr. Robert J. Pearlstein is a fellowship trained Geriatric Internist who has been practicing in Norristown, Pennsylvania for over twenty years. A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, he is the Medical Director of many nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home care agencies and hospices. Dr. Pearlstein also works closely with aging and adult services organizations. An active member of multiple ethic boards and councils, Dr. Pearlstein was also the Chairman of Mercy Hospital’s Bioethics committee for eight years. In this role he dealt with intra-hospital ethics as well as community concerns and issues related to ethics.

In his 20-plus years of treating individuals and families, Dr. Pearlstein’s passion for end-of life planning developed after repeatedly witnessing the sad and unfortunate consequences of failing to plan. As he watched uncertainty build and families crumble he knew that there had to be a better way. Keystone Healthcare Technologies flowed from Dr. Pearlstein’s desire to create a system that allows people to approach the planning process in an easy, personal, and secure way, freeing individuals and families from having to make critical decisions under duress, and from second guessing those decisions for a lifetime.
